TAMMY MARRETT

Tammy is sustainability professional with over 15 years of experience of delivering environmental initiatives. She has a proven track record of successfully managing a diverse range of projects. She is experienced in working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders such as brands and manufacturers, across supply chains. Whilst working with WRAP for over 9 years she built up considerable knowledge of the resource efficiency arena and specialised in sustainable packaging, the glass supply chain and reuse and repair. Tammy managed an international 5 year programme of work to improve the sustainability of wine bottling and transportation. She worked with major retailers such as Marks and Spencer and Tesco to develop innovative ways to reduce food packaging. She supported SMEs, and NGOs to increase their capacity for the re-use and repair of WEEE, textiles and furniture. Tammy also represented WRAP on various advisory boards such as, The Soft Drinks Roadmap working alongside DEFRA, The Soft Drinks Association, Britvic and Coca Cola. Tammy has just completed a Master’s degree entitled ‘The Green Economy’ gaining a distinction. She is passionate about the environment and happy to work in areas of progressive change such as resource efficiency and the circular economy.
